Arizona Coyotes forward Nicklas Grossmann scored twice in overtime to help the Anaheim Ducks defeat the Minnesota Wild 6-5 in overtime Sunday.
Grossmann had a goal and an assist in the shootout to give the Ducks a 5-2 lead with 12:15 left in the third period.
The Ducks tied it in the second period, but Gaudreau scored twice on a power-play goal by Zach Parise with 1:38 left in regulation to seal the win.
The win was the Ducks’ first since a 4-2 win over the Arizona Coyotes at Bridgestone Arena in November.
The win is the Ducks first since they defeated the Arizona Wild 4-3 in overtime at Bridger Arena in February.
The Ducks have lost five of their past six games.
The Rangers fell behind 4-0 in the first period when Ryan McDonagh had a shot blocked by defenseman Nicklas Backstrom and goalie Martin Jones.
But the Ducks answered back with a power play goal by Gaudrie and Nicklas Kronwall on the power play at 7:09.
Gaudreau finished with two goals on six shots, including a power shot from the point by Kronwall that was blocked by Backstrom.
