Tampa Bay Lightning defenseman Victor Hedman will make his All-Stars debut tonight, and he has a few tips on how to look like the real thing.
Hedman will join the other first-year players to start at center ice as the Lightning look to defeat the Philadelphia Flyers for the Stanley Cup.
Hedmans teammates, Anton Stralman and Brayden Point, will be wearing orange and blue uniforms.
“The players are very confident and it will be fun to see how this goes,” Hedman said.
“The goal is to dress as much as we can and make as many moves as we possibly can.”
Hedmen is coming off a season in which he was a Vezina Trophy finalist, a Norris Trophy finalists, an All-Rookie Team and an NHL All-star.
This year, Hedman had 13 goals and 37 points in 74 games.
He’s not the only rookie to make the NHL all-star team this year, but he is the first in his position to do so with the Lightning.
