Stars coach Dave Tippett says he will not play the Washington Capitals on opening night.
The Capitals are coming off a 7-4 loss at home to the Chicago Blackhawks.
Tippetts said he doesn’t think the team can win a game until they play the Boston Bruins.
“I’m going to sit here and look at it and see if it’s a good idea to play,” Tippets said.
“If it’s not a good thing for us to go and play, I’m going play.
Tippetts and his team have lost two straight, a streak that was snapped by the Capitals last week. “
You never know what you’re going to get in the playoffs.”
